lucy Sisman

Lucy Sisman has worked in editorial, advertising, branding, packaging and design. She trained as a graphic designer in London and worked on The Sunday Times before moving to New York in 1983 where she joined The New York Times as both a journalist and a designer. In 1989, she set up Sisman Design to expand her business and work with clients all over the world and to consult and design for corporations on both sides of the Atlantic. She especially fostered an enduring relationship with Condé Nast. Her work always comes from her core conviction that the success of any product depends on the creation of a strong brand with a dynamic visual identity—that applies to branding or re-branding a lipstick, designing a magazine, or positioning a fashion designer to expand worldwide.
